It might be hard to see, but if you notice on Geralt's face, as well as the edges of the light spots on the house behind him, there are little "lines". They almost look like bits meshed together as if it was an 8 bit image or something. Is this just part of the game engine or is something going wrong? I run the game all maxed out(not ubersampling in this pic), and even on low settings this perists. Any ideas or solutions?
Also to add, when actually playing it's hardly noticeable. During conversations, especially when there is a lot of light, it is highly noticeable.

Maybe your graphics card is having problems rendering shadows correctly?
It sounds like you're talking about dithering. It's all over the shadows in this game so I'm not surprised that you noticed. Seems to be an engine limitation and I hope it's eventually fixed.

Thanks for the response. Yeah I found out it was just an engine thing, I'm used to it though and the game truly is beautiful regardless.
Yep, that's how the engine renders shadows in order to get better performance. It was done similarly in GTA IV I think.

I wish there was an option to use better shadow rendering on high end PCs.
