OK, so I originally posted a rant about how much I hated the Kayram, he killed me like 50 times before I beat him. I cried that he was cheap and it was pure luck.

Well, one recent evening my friend came by and brought over his rig. It was a night of nerding out on the Witcher 2. He hooked up his computer to my 32" Sony TV.

Long story short, this boss is MUCH easier on a larger display. I noticed I could see his moves way before the Kayram executed them. To go even further, my friend beat this guy without using Cedric's traps OR QUEN! I know.

I originally played on a 22" widescreen display. If you are having trouble with this guy, hook your comp up to your TV and see the difference.

Good point. With the extra real estate, you get greater visibility which can be very helpful. I am playing with Kayran on a 22" myself. I have a 42" HDTV I could hook up to, but probably won't bother with.

All you have to do is look up a bit and you'll see it raising its tentacles before it attacks... it's not really hard to dodge them.
