I cannot for the life of me get past the damned section of the game where I am being escorted by Roche through Henselt's camp.

What path through the camp are you supposed to take? I've tried 30 different routes. I've tried waiting for the guards to pass. I've tried everything.

Wait is this on Roche's path or Iorveth's? I don't remember.
On Iorveth's path the trick is to use your fire sign and light up some barrels behind Henselt's tent...that distracts the guards....without it you will never get through.

Either way, i won't be surprised if the Roche path have a similar obstacle..so see it as a hint, you can use signs on certain things to create distractions.
I figured it out.

It is on Iorveth's path. Just had a fight with the Nilffgaurd sorcerer.

The trick is, basically walk forward and trigger the officers to walk by. Once you see the game trigger their movement... go back the way you came and hide by the gate you came from.

Kinda lame... all of the stuff going on around you, including Roche's yelling, tells you to keep going forward.

It feels like a pretty poorly developed gameplay idea/mechanic.

I really don't like assuming control of a person besides Geralt. There are other ways to tell a story. I like cut-scenes.
