Hi there.

Been playing the TWEE and that has been a blast to play. So granted I know my little old 2007 MBP is underpower for TW2. I still installed it. FIrst problem is the chopy screen of the credits and music. The curser is jumping all over the place. Granted the arrow keys and enter button work as they should. I just can't get it to settle down even though I turned a lot stuff down or off.

Running XP SP3 English with 2.xx GB ram and 256mb for video.
VM is Parallels 6
Macbook Pro 2007 2.2GHz core 2 duo 4 GB ram with 128mb video.

Any mac users running this game on Parallels or Fushion? If so, what are you settings and findings?

Once I am able to get a PC for gaming or a better Mac I think I should be able to play TW2 as it should be played. For now I will be playing TWEE for some time and NWN1.

Without really knowing I would guess forget about Parallels and Fusion as this game is DirectX shader heavy and uses high res textures (and lots of them - so with 256 MB VRAM I am actually suprised it lets you install and run it at all).

At the very least I would suggest go the BootCamp route it will give you a nice performance boost on a native windows with latest GPU drivers. Don't expect too much though because of the low VRAM you will have to play on a lower resolution.

Also, may I point you kindly in the direction of a similar post:
