So, I'm doing my first playthrough of the Witcher 2, and I have the FCR mod installed. I just finished the Rose of Remembrance, and am about to go talk to Zoltan about the Scoia'tel. From what I've been reading, FCR isn't a great mod for your first playthrough, so is it possible to unselect it in the mod manager and continue playing? Or will my saves be unplayable or will the game just plain not function anymore?

Uninstalling FCR 2 mid-game will leave your game messed up. Somewhat playable, but a lot of information will be wrong.

If your only concern is that some fool is out to spoil your experience by saying you shouldn't have started with FCR 2, ignore that "advice" and play on.

Hey, man, thanks for answering. It's no big deal, really- I haven't had any problems with it so far, and I'm totally loving it. I'll just keep playing as I have been.
