Kaldurenik: I mean who cares about the other people that dont follow them on facebook everyone know they are worse customers after all :>.
It's more like: hey everybody, show your support on a social media site! We will give you an incentive to gice us this kind of publicity.

They've been giving away free goodies and DLC to everyone buying the Polish retail version on opening night in a number of stores. Does this mean the rest of us is being treated badly? No it means they actually care about fans that actively support them.

Nobody forces you to join. They're not giving away patches for Buddha's sake!

So? What about the people that have paid for the game? Are they worth less as customers?

Yes i think so to your other question im against ANY DLC that is given to a certain group of customers. Everyone should either get everything or dont do stuff like this. They are just basicly telling their customers "These select few are worth more then any of you other guys will ever be"

Meh i dont care about joining it. I know im not forced to join it. I will never join it. I could even get it on release day without problems from "some" websites. That still dont mean i agree with what they are doing.
To be blunt: yes, yes they are. Because not only did they pay for the game, they've also made some effort and genrate publicity. From a company's perspective that's definitely added value, to have people appear on opening nights and so on. So yes, those customers are worth more. They did more. So they get something out of it, be it t-shirts, coins, or DLC.

If it's any consolation, they'll probably release all the exclusive dlc someday in the future. There's been a lot of talk about that already. So you won't have to resort to illegal activities instead of showing support for a company.

Technically? Yes. Think about it, by following them on facebook, not only does CDPR get a venue through which to spam their future projects, but the "like" shows up on the homepage of all their friends. They're just giving a little back.

That being said, I'm not their facebook friend, so I speak as one of those lesser customers.

EDIT: Damn you, Voodoo, for being so fast. I keel u.

So i should get some unique dlc for talking about the game (word of mouth) on the 20 gaming forums im active on? See where im going? In the end its pointless but then again im also one of the lesser customers :> Im quiet used to it but i dont agree with it anyway.

Maybe they will release it maybe they wont. In any case i still dont agree with them.
That's the beauty about Facebook!

Are my "friend" ? Of course, I am your "friend". Click on my "Add to Friends" button, I will click on yours, and we shall be the best Facebook friends eva' !

Do you like my ad ? Of course, I like it. Now if you could provide me with some goodies before I clicked on that "I like" button...

It's a HUGE cesspool of online hypocrisy ^.^

PS : it's probably exaggerated, but not by much.

Honestly, like with everything in human society, it depends on the person.
Still not worth defiling myself with Facebook.

Good...your hate has made you powerful. Now fulfill your destiny and take your father's place at my side! Write more posts on a topic you could as well not care about, and your journey towards the Dark Side will be complete!

Nice.

As for me there's not really a defiling of anything but whatever makes you feel better.

I care about TW2, and potential DLC for it. What I dont care about is exerting the least effort to sign up for Facebook to get it.

Although, if it makes you feel better, I do care slightly more about the latter, than I do about your opinion.

And yet you care enough to tell me about it! How splendid. I am touched, you're such a nice, warm person!

I really appreciate the effort you took to tell me how little you care. Have a nice day!

Thanks for the heads up Voodoo. While I do not Facebook or any of that I will get one of my kids to follow and get me the code.

Well, just make sure to reward them in some way for that :D
I don't have FB account but why oh why must it be exclusive to FB followers? They mentioned all future DLC will be free to all the legitimate customers. No?
