It's quite annoying when I load up the game and my settings have gone from uber to low! Since you have to quit the game and reset everything and then restart the game. Not sure what is causing this but will it be addressed in the patch?

Well, who knows what's causing it, but for now, set your settings to uber, then go make your user.ini file read only and see if you still have the problem. File is located in documents, witcher 2, config.

what computer do you have?
The first things that comes to mind is that the game somehow default to low cause of an issue.

I'm having that issue, but only if the Patcher.exe has been run. Then my video settings and sound settings in game resets.
