Notice: Im not talking about bug fixes here and im not talking about Combat/gameplay (as thats more then covered in a billion other threads). Im asking for ideas that you think would make TW3 (or even TW2 EE version) better.

Mine:

1) Seem to ask this of every developer and no one seems to do it, but its so obvious to me and such a immersion builder.

VOICED OVER notes, letters, books.

Rather then having a ton of books and letters and notes and what not to read, have them read (voiced) in the voice of who wrote them. So if Im reading a note from Roche to Foltest, its read in Roches voice aloud when I open it. And so on. And then hire a sagely sounding voice to read the book excepts.

I find reading these things in RPGs (was my complaint in Dragon Age Origins as well) so tedious and boring that I often end up skimming and missing something which leads to fustration and aggrevation down the road when it would be so simple to fix.

2) When you read a book, note, what note, mark it as read in your inventory. As I said above, I get bored reading those things and with Geralt constantly buying new books and picking new ones up, I forget whats been read and what hasnt many times!

Plus to add to this concept, when dealing with a book seller, only have him list the books you dont already have! Its freaking annoying sorting through all the books you already have and dont need!

3) (been said elsewhere but good idea) Junk Inventory slot so you dont need to scroll through the "everything" catagiry looking for the junk peices taking up space.

4) Vaults again at each inn! This actually ended up hurting me. In Chapter 3 at the ruined city you can buy a recipe for great armor upgrade but as I didnt have backpack room in chapter 2 I sold off all of the crafting material I needed for that armor (not saying what it was as to not spoil for people) and sure enough, I couldnt find nor craft enough of that material required to make the armor!

If I had storage at the inn carry over as it did in TW1, this would not have been a issue!

Also, I wanted to carry 2 sets of armor and 2 swords (steel) for the different benefits associated to them but because I was so limited in weight allowed and because armor and swords some of the more heavy items, I had to ditch them, which honestly sucks.

So bring back the storage space in local inns please!

More to come later

What I want to see:

1. More Vernon Roche.
2. More Ves.
3. The opportunity to ditch Triss and hook up with Ves instead.
4. More badassery.
5. More writing for the main characters. I felt that I rarely ever talked to Roche.

Life must be pretty hard for you to get immersed in, since that doesn't happen in real life :)

Definitely agree with the other two, though.
I want to see the Lady of the Lake and Morenn :p

More sidequests i really want to see more sidequests and more contracts :)

Lol ya i do miss them hahaha :p
Honestly, a game that is guaranteed to play well even on an average PC.

New areas to explore and "hunt" on!

Please bring back the original music score of the Witcher with only Adam Skorupa as composer.
Here is my, slightly ambitious wishlist:

- Extra content between chapter one and two, perhaps a whole new chapter. Also some content involving Saskia, more monster hunts.

- Recipe book (similar layour to the spellbook in Heroes of Might and Magic, or King's Bounty) for all the alchemy recipes.

- Bestiary (similar to above) with sketched pictures of monsters.

- Grid inventory.

- An option to disable/move elements of GUI - like turning off minimap, rescaling health bar etc.

- Decapitations (I don't think it's there, is it?).

- More friendly character dialog (with Triss, Dandelion, Zoltan, Ves, Vernon).

- A toolkit / game editor !!!

- Game character of Yennefer.

And for TW3 I wouldn't mind a combat system similar to what Mount & Blade uses.
A good ending?
-A return to five chapters + Prologue/epilogue that builds up into a great finale like in TW1

-A TW1 inventory/merchant system

-Drinking and drinking games

-A return of alcohol bases, oil bases like lard etc and bomb bases that you can loot or find

-A non QTE fistfighting choice

-More interaction between characters..playfulness, funny moments

-Better UI like in TW1

-More informative/creative journal/bestiary

-A return to memorizing potion ingredients and not needing lists that fill up inventory

-More involving and power creating attribute/leveling system

-Storage system

-There's a lot more but I'll finish with this...GROUP STYLE ATTACK !! and more monsters :D
1) a return of the mechanical feature that marks materials as read and lets you sell off books and scrolls but keep the knowledge from them in your journal. I don't want reading materials voiced, however, because I don't need it and sound files are huge. I would prefer that voice work be concentrated in...

2) more additional dialog with other characters and general npc banter. I love what we get in TW1 and 2, but I'd love more. It's an rpg: I need to play a good story, but I like being told one as well.

3) more chances to spend a little time playing as someone other than Geralt. I love playing through Triss's conversation in the megascope, the confrontation between Roche and Iorveth, and the negotiations between Henselt and Saskia. Geralt is still the protagonist, but it gives his world so much more detail.

4) a chance for Triss and Yennefer--if Yennefer has a major role--to work out for themselves how to deal with the complicated relationship they have with each other and with Geralt. I would rather not have the simple choice that Geralt makes between Triss and Shani even though that was written well (the ladies at least get to voice their opinions and misinterpretations). Nevertheless, Triss and Yennefer have their own history with each other, a longer one than either of them have with Geralt, and I'd like them to be given the dignity of some input into how things work out between the three of them. It's a question of their friendship as well as the complicated romance.

5) a good, long development cycle. I enjoy this franchise enough to wait for a great game. I don't mind a few dlcs and expansions for TW2 if CDPR decides to go that route, but I hope that they feel financially secure enough to take their time crafting another full game.
