Notice: Im not talking about bug fixes here and im not talking about Combat/gameplay (as thats more then covered in a billion other threads). Im asking for ideas that you think would make TW3 (or even TW2 EE version) better.
Mine:
1) Seem to ask this of every developer and no one seems to do it, but its so obvious to me and such a immersion builder.
VOICED OVER notes, letters, books.
Rather then having a ton of books and letters and notes and what not to read, have them read (voiced) in the voice of who wrote them. So if Im reading a note from Roche to Foltest, its read in Roches voice aloud when I open it. And so on. And then hire a sagely sounding voice to read the book excepts.
I find reading these things in RPGs (was my complaint in Dragon Age Origins as well) so tedious and boring that I often end up skimming and missing something which leads to fustration and aggrevation down the road when it would be so simple to fix.
2) When you read a book, note, what note, mark it as read in your inventory. As I said above, I get bored reading those things and with Geralt constantly buying new books and picking new ones up, I forget whats been read and what hasnt many times!
Plus to add to this concept, when dealing with a book seller, only have him list the books you dont already have! Its freaking annoying sorting through all the books you already have and dont need!
3) (been said elsewhere but good idea) Junk Inventory slot so you dont need to scroll through the "everything" catagiry looking for the junk peices taking up space.
4) Vaults again at each inn! This actually ended up hurting me. In Chapter 3 at the ruined city you can buy a recipe for great armor upgrade but as I didnt have backpack room in chapter 2 I sold off all of the crafting material I needed for that armor (not saying what it was as to not spoil for people) and sure enough, I couldnt find nor craft enough of that material required to make the armor!
If I had storage at the inn carry over as it did in TW1, this would not have been a issue!
Also, I wanted to carry 2 sets of armor and 2 swords (steel) for the different benefits associated to them but because I was so limited in weight allowed and because armor and swords some of the more heavy items, I had to ditch them, which honestly sucks.
So bring back the storage space in local inns please!
More to come later
