so I run into trouble.

I doing blood curse quest, about the end at act 2. I am at level 22 and I suddenly dont get anymore xp for killing foes, or completing the quest.

has anyone got the same trouble?

p.s: If we open a thread such that everyone can come and post their bug trouble on that one thread, the developer can easily see all the problem and hopefully release patches faster rite?

update: in fact: I dont get any more xp for killing monsters. I get some xp for finishing the quest. It is pity xp :(

it seems that nobody else has this problem but only me?
The fact of the matter is, in TW2 you get the majority of your XP from quests and killing boss monsters.

I did every sidequest (and I mean EVERY sidequest) and never *once* did any grinding for XP, yet by endgame I was at level 35.
well, I am at level 25 now.

The games seems to award me xp for completing quest but not for any extra killings.

Reloading to earlier game I notice that I got more xp per killing in earlier saves: around 14 points per kills.

Somehow it goes down to 5 and now no more xp for any monsters killed.

By the time I battle Kraug , I am at level 25, no more xp is awarded for any opponents.

I am not sure if anybody has this situation as well. Not sure if it is the game that way or ?
because you've been killing the same monster over and over, you're not learning anything new

hmmm... maybe there is an implicit level cap. Unless you feel underpowered at your current level, I say don't worry about it. Side quest and main quest are your main source of experience (the latter can give up to 1000) so yeah, just proceed with main quest and see what happens.

Same here. Since I got to level 25 I haven't advanced at all. I have completed several more quests, killed scores of monsters, got the Dragon's Dream crystal, helped revive Saskia and killed Draug and I have not advanced even one stinkin' point.
I thought the level cap was 35, not 25.
It's not a bug, it's just simply that the mobs are too weak to give you any more exp. You have to move on to other enemies. You can still level via quests or reach the next act for different mobs.
The game is pretty selective about when you get XP. Oftentimes I see it give zero XP versus mobs, then on the completion of certain quests the levels come in a bunch. For the most part you can't grind your way to new levels, you must progress the story to do so.
Yeah this is pretty common among RPG's, once the level difference reaches a point youdon't receive XP anymore. Far more prevalent in MMO's, but the alternate solution woudl be for levels to increase exponentially in experience required rather than the linear experience per level we currently have.
thanks for the reply :D
I'm in the same boat on Iorveth's path. When pass back through the fog in Ch 2 and give Phillipa the update to Triss' quest and the Royal Blood quest, I stopped gaining XP. Doesn't matter if its from quests or kills.

My XP bar is filled showing 25 on one side and 26 on the other. My actually exp number lists me at being above the lvl 26 requirement but it doesn't move over to be 26-27 and I don't gain anymore XP.

Help please. I have patch 1.1
