I have played up to the assault of the castle and I am very disappointed in the way it seems to have been console only then ported to PC IMO which it doesn't handle well. They changed the way it plays most likely for consoles as consoles don't use mouse keyboard. The mouse keyboard sucks and am not buying a damn controller to play a PC game.

The Graphics look console-ish the game play is console-ish So far The Witcher 2 sucks compared to The Witcher 1. It will not play as well and many options are gone that The Witcher 1 had. This is a rush job full of bugs and just a plain mess not worthy of being called the witcher 2 did the same people make this that made the 1st one?

Where are the different views to play from? Like The Witcher had...
Why did they port this game from console to PC? Ruined a whole game because of damn console's...

It is sluggish and slow compared to The Witcher.

My advise is wait on buying it until you have read that all the bugs have been fixed. They have added to the game the options of different views to battle from, and make game play fun because right now it sucks in all areas except the movies which are nice. If they make the options they had in the 1st Witcher available for this one then maybe it might be playable.

I give it 1 STAR right now it is awful... They changed it so much you wont know what the hell you are to do and it sure Don't give you much on figuring it out...

Lets hope they fix this game its in bad shape as is.

How did they port it from console to PC if there's no console version ? Some elements seem to to have been designed with a PC to Console port somewhere down the road in mind, yes, but that's definitely not the same

The graphics look amazing. The level of detail blows me away and any of the artists who worked on this game, well, i'll have their babies if any of them want me to.

It is a rush job they left out a lot of stuff that the first one had so IMO it is a rush job and IMO a console port it plays and looks and acts like one.

Well the game is not a console port, and I disagree with most of the points of the OP (No idea what he means with "console-graphics"), but I am forced to admit that a lot of things in the game do look like a console port, the interfaces (inventory, skill screen,etc...), the ultra-limited in-game settings, etc... that's actually the first thing I noticed and they surprised me when I started the game.

Cod4 and on are all console ports and handle sluggish like one as well there are many other console ports that are the same way.

Yet, you never actually give examples to support yiour opinion.
