Same here, can't get it fixed no matter what I try

i just ran into this game breaking bug, too... wasn't able to fix it (reloading old saves etc)

I started another game, went to Pyres of Novigrad at level 4 and the brick opened just fine. Which really pisses me off since I've got 40 hours of side content on my main and lots of good equipment. Trying to rush on that profile and try a new build/decisions until it gets hopefully patched soon.

Does it have anything to do with save imports of Witcher 2? I talked to the NPC to do decisions I never did in W2.

Don't know if this will matter or not, but I pressed it when in witcher mode and it worked fine. I've noticed trouble interacting with any red item if I allowed witcher mode to cease before I interact, so I'm always sure to be in witcher mode when I interact with red outlined items.

Any sort of update on a fix?

No update yet? It's been 5+ days since i encountered that bug and i would like to play the game i bought...

Almost a week without a fix, if it was a minor bug fair enough but it literally stops you from playing the game. Can anyone say when we should expect a fix.

i actually just finished this quest with no problems.

I see there is a 1.04 patch out now. Anyone tried it with this patch? Did it fix it? I am still downloading. Slow connection
