Guess It might be that I'm just used to playing GTA5 from the closest 3rd person view, but it feels too far away in W3 for me. Makes me feel detached from the character and environment at times. Don't suppose there's a setting or tweak to move it closer to him?.

There was a cheat engine hack (it works in 1.02, not in 1.03) that allowed you to zoom in or out. I tried it but I'm not sure how "good" it is to zoom in because I want it more zoomed out and it worked very well, exactly what I was looking forward, pity the creator will have to update the hack every time a new update comes along.

Don't worry about it being complicated if you want to try it, all you have to do is download it, Cheat Engine, install it, run Witcher 3, alt-tab and run the hack (which opens Cheat Engine), press the flashy button and picke witcher3.exe then crosscheck FOV Override and FOV and you are done. Numpad +/- for zoom in/out.
