I installed the game and for some reason this red target reticle overlay won't go away? When I play other pc games on Steam, Epic Store, Orgin and so on the target isn't showing. I've uninstalled the game, uninstalled GOG and reinstalled everything and it's still there? Is my game just broken permanently now?

Here are more screenshots to prove I'm not losing my mind. Zero 3rd party apps running. I wrote into GOG Support and they asked me reinstall in boot mode so most system apps are not running either when I installed.

Are you sure? We had a similar case in a german forum. The reason for the circle symbol was an audio tracker ...
Did you find out the reason meanwhile, DroyD614?

Hi sorry as I haven't checked this forum in a couple days now. I never found a solution. I even installed a different GOG Galaxy game and the target reticle/overlay wasn't there. I've installed and uninstalled the Wticher 3 now over 6 times and same thing every time. I'm even considering buying the game again on Steam just so I can play it without this issue.

Another screenshot here. It's definitely a weird overlay because it doesn't move. I've tried pushing every button on my keyboard with FN+every key....windows button+every key....ctrl+Alt+all different types of keys. Nothing.

I figured it out for anyone else suffering from the same. It was the Dolyby Atmos Sound Radar. Not sure how it ever got switched on. But it's located in the bottm right hand corner of the windows 10 app.

In the german forum I mentioned above it was the Audio Tracker of Nahimic.
