(although if you couldn't figure she would make a cameo then, well...)

So when you go to the quest by Hangman's Tree to save Ves from Nilfgaardian soldiers I can't kill the last wave of them. They don't take damage. Only the one with the greatsword. The rest all go down with some effort but the three others who you find fighting Ves are invincible to my attacks. Vernon and Ves both can damage them but I can't.

Advice? Anyone had this issue before?

Did you immediately start killing the soldiers as you encountered them, or did you run straight past and to Ves? Try it for science, if you haven't.

Typically I can mow them down pretty fast despite Death March! difficulty so I haven't tried to run past them yet. So..

For science I shall!

I will let you know the results of this meticulously dedicated and complex experiment.
