Is there any more information on when, and indeed if, the problem of using gifted codes is going to be fixed.
I have been waiting since release day and am getting rather irritated at the lack of response to any of my queries about this subject on the support topic, facebook and twitter.
Is anybody acyaully going to offer any information about what is going on or when this matter will be fixed, so that those of us waiting with gifted codes can actually play the game.

Nope, came from an MSI competition.
You might want to try redeeming through geforce anyway... MSI makes graphics cards (among other hardware); maybe they were using excess keys from the GPU promotion.
Already tried, invalid code.
Appreciate you trying to help though.
This is getting bloody ridiculous now.

Been waiting since launch day and the only information from this useless, inept company is the one and only message that they posted on launch day:

Gifting of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt temporarily unavailable (fix in progress)

Nothing more from then in 4 days.

Does this company even have a customer support department?
Do they even care that there are people unable to use the services?

I personally will never recommend using GOG to anyone I know,and quite frankly if it was not for this one game(which I am still unable to play) I would delete them from my computer and my life without a second thought.
It doesn't look like you opened a Support ticket - at least none that I could find based on your username. Do you have a Ticket ID?

Most importantly, please send me the code via PM and I'll check it out.

So after sending my ticket number,and the code of the game as requested above I am now still waiting for any kind of acknowledgement at all, is anyone alive on the customer service side?

I have not met any company with such a terrible level of customer service.
They are probably busy answering all the 'How do I run the game?' type of questions they are getting every single second. I'm also betting they prioritise owners of the game over you as you have not redeemed the gift code yet.

Oddly enough it all seems to be working now and the code is fine.
