Just to make things clear, I am not making a hate train post here, I am seriously loving this game or at least what I seen of it. Issue for me are constant freeze and crash. It always happens during the combat (mid animation while dodging or attacking). Game freezes for a few seconds then crashes to desktop without any notice. Music keeps playing in the backround but in task manager Witcher 3 is not responding. I was browsing many forums and reddit and tried various things. Among other i changed almost full graphic options from Low to Ultra, all Postprocessing options aswell. I play without Nvidia hair, and and tried fullscreen/borderless/windowed options.. Crashes still remain. Also tried unlocking and locking framerate.. sadly to no avail

My pc config is:
i7 4790
8GB ram
R9 200 series GPU with 2gb ram
I tried both 14,4 and 15.4 drivers same error with freeze and crash
Windows 7

I really dont wanna give up on this game but I am runnin out of choices. I cannot play and crash 5 or 6 times in single encounter every time. If anyone knows anything else I could try please advise me. Thanks alot in advance :D

Edit: I also tried playing without gog client (running the game directly from folder)

What version are you playing or crashing?

I had these issues on all versions from 1.0 to newest one 1.4.

You will have to wait for AMD drivers I suppose.

I have similar problems on my nvidia card even though the last drivers are meant for witcher. I had to revert to older drivers to solve the issue. I have worse fps now, but its stable which is better for me.

The new nvidia drivers are crashing even during browsing the internet in Chrome. I cannot even fathom how it could go through QA...

Well,if it's crashing in all patches then there must be a small problem with PC.
The only thing I can see is maybe check and make sure Ram is okay.
What sticks (ram,how many) do you have in PC?
You should always keep drivers up to date,for a game like this.

Have 2 x 4gb Kingston HyperX. I tried both GPU driver versions (14 and 15.4) and they have same performance which is good, framerate is stable, no broken textures etc.. but freeze and crash is the same :(

Ok then i guess my pc is just not fit for this game atm.. I will wait for it awhile :S

Edit: Maybe its worth mentioning that I dont have any similiar problem in any other game

It's possible one of those sticks is stuffed,can you try them in another PC?
Or take them to a teck to test them.

No problems,it happened to me once,A stick died on me and I had problems until it was fixed.
