does the gog installer install other programs (e.g. DX, C++ or Net Frameworks)? Or does it install the game only? I am asking because I hate when some game does this. Thanks.

Not a single game will install any of those programs if you already have them installed. It certainly doesn't install DX, and about Net Frameworks, I don't remember. But as I said, in the case it wants to install something, it will just check if you have them installed, and install the missing programs if you don't have them. The game will not run without those programs I think.

Thanks, that is my point. The game makes check and then installs it without my knowledge. That is what I hate today. In the past, games always asked you.
