I got an enchanced version of a potion without ever making the base version. That replaces the base version in alchemy menu BUT you need the base potion to make the plus version.

Am I SOL here?

this happened to me back in 1.02 and i was still able to make the lower end version then upgrade. Might of changed but i wouldn't worry about it, this is WAYYYYYYYYY to huge of an oversight (bug) if its real. No way this is intentional.
Which version was that? On PC version at least the "obsolete" formula disappears from alchemy menu when you get an upgrade. Is there somewhere I can get to the "old" formulas?
I read someone had the super version of a point without being able to make the previous 2..
You do need the base version to make the enhanced and later superior versions. But you are not hosed. I was able to find a herbologist that sold most if not all the base versions that I was missing.

Hint: he's east of Oxenfurt.
It looks like it's really the biggest oversight ever.

I've got upraged bombs and decoctions as well as potions where I'm missing the base version.

Only way around it is that some merchants will sell you the base formula afterwards.

<sarcasm> Good job CDPR </sarcasm>
I could make the base version then the enhanced of potions, so it should be ok. But you can't go back to the base version of course if you already have the enhanced one.
