a bit of warning for everyone who is doing this Quest, you don't need to find the Baron's daughter Tamara, which kinda pisses me off at the moment. My question is now, if she is important or not(the Journal says that she is with the witch hunter, but how can I know that, if I've never found her).

But.. You do find her, in Oxenfurt. You have a good conversation with her regarding the whole matter.

My problem is, that I already finished the Quest Family Matters without ever stepping a foot inside Ochsenfurt.

Mmh Tamara should be there when you go with the Baron to the place in the swamp where Anna is. At least she is, when you meet her in Oxenfurt before that. That way Geralt would get to know her without going to Oxenfurt.
