Ok so, I bought my game a few days ago, installed, updated all ran perfectly up until about an hour ago when I tried to play and what happedned was, I opened GOG Galaxy, pressed Play and the screen went black for about a second, then just showed GOG again.
I tried to do a manual load (whatever you can it) wen straight to the application file in bin/64x/witcher3
same thing, black flicker for a second then back to desktop.
Very frustrating!
I tried uninstalling GOG then redownloading and installing, now it just says to reinstall the game where it used to say play.(WTF)
I cannot figure this out. (Im not very in depth computer savvy, i know little)
The game was running excellent a few hours ago and no its screwing up. Its very frusting.
I have sent a message to GOG contact, but it will most likely take days if not weeks for them to get back.
Can anyone help me, please?
If I need to reinstall, is there anyway I can save all my progress, like my save files and data so I dont have to start all over?

Hey, thank you for your reply.

Here is a screenshot of my GOG application open. As you can see, I go into More>Manage and verify/repair is blacked out.

I have made a copy of my save files now and i will have to uninstall completely then reinstall when i have time.

Do you have any other suggestions?

I have reinstalled the game and it is working again! Thank you for your help.
I have no idea what happened, but I am so happy it's working again!
Hopefully everyone else's game start working again soon, and GOG fixes whatever was wrong.
