Does the game update the patch automatically? or do we have to download ourselves? If so how we have to do it?

How did you get the game? Steam should update automatically, GOG Galaxy does that probably automatically too. If you downloaded with browser directly from gog ere are those updates available too.

Patch 1.01 has been removed from what I see, I have patch 1.02 and patch 1.05
As said above patches should be installed automatically if your using galaxy or steam, I don't use either, I download the patch and run it, and it installs..
Still can't examine the dead griffin, I'm going to have to start over :(, I've done so many side quests, even beat a level 6 quest at level 2 [playing on normal]
in fact I can't even bring myself to play the game anymore, good job CDPR, maybe next time use some beta testers
