Hi,fellow witchers,here a simple way to store items:

- Go to Oxenfurt--> Weaponsmith and go behind his counter and on the little wood ledge behind him,
now open inventory and unload all the s...t you want to "store" and save it.

I was able to not lose any items,weapons,pelts and so on. Even if I've meditated lot of days while I was in the outside world doing quests and farm items XD.

I placed my stuff in one of the rooms at Dandelions place in Novigrad. Never disappeared ever since. It's pretty fast too reach.

Yeah the logic is the same,place items in a zone/place that the game consider "static" and is not affected by any storyline decision/progress XD

Yes but it's a spot you far more often come by (Oxenfurt is not yet that important - but yes, it will be be when the extension is out) and it's pretty fast to reach.

I tried a different spot to the master smith in Velen (I thought it would be convenient ;)) but there it all disappeared (had nothing to do with story progress in this case since I was already done with the main story and the relevant quests in this area).

On the other hand I left some stuff on the street and it's still there ;). So it's a bit unpredictable what stays and what disappears ;)

The game really needs a player stash...

Sweet, good find. I'm a bit scared that they will eventually disappear though, haha.
