I don't want the next-gen update of this game. The old version runs perfectly fine on my older computer and I have zero desire to install some next-gen version with terrible performance that requires me to fiddle for days with settings and probably only be able to play the game on lowest settings with terrible FPS.

I was relieved to see that the 1.32 version is still listed as downloadable in my GOG account but when I try to actually download it, I get a 404 error message. Please repair these download links. I bought the GOTY edition of this game and that is the edition that I want.

Please don't force me to download a copy of my OWN game from some illegal warez site.

The 1.31 + patch -> 1.32 are the old version.

I don't know if the broken links to the "Classic" version are for the "next-gen" one.

CDPR seems silent on these issues. I hope that they get sued, this time.

Version 1.32 is listed under Extras, but when you try to download any of the files you get a "not avaliable" (404) message.

I know, but the old installer files are called "Complete Edition" (and are the old ones) and these files are called "Classic".

So to install the old 1.32, download 1.31 + patch -> 1.32

Hi, I just found the fix and It's super simple actually.

The problem is a typo in the link. All you have to do is remove "_(g)"

In short, change this:

../goty/classic/setup_the_witcher_3_wild_hunt_goty_1.31_(a)_(9709)_(g)-1.bin

To this:

../goty/classic/setup_the_witcher_3_wild_hunt_goty_1.31_(a)_(9709)-1.bin

And the download will work, cheers!

That works, thank you! I don't trust CDPR anymore so I will download this quickly before it goes away completely.

why you just cant replace it with 1.32 in gog galaxy? near play button, on the right: two dots/manage installation/configure/version 1.32 and game will rollout to 1.32 :)

How do you get it to work? For me, the download links for the "original" goty version listed under extras looks nothing like described here, it looks like this:

Just click into the link and when you get to the error 404, check the address bar, in my case it ended in:

setup_the_witcher_3_wild_hunt_goty_1.31_%28a%29_%289709%29_%28g%29.exe

and I just had to remove the "_%28g%29" part, ending with something like this:

setup_the_witcher_3_wild_hunt_goty_1.31_%28a%29_%289709%29.exe

...and the download started ^^.

You may believe it or not: There are still GOG customers who refuse to jump on the Galaxy train. ... and where can 1.31 + patch 1.32 be downloaded? Works! Thanks for posting the workaround!

I managed to install 1.31, but the 1.32 patch is giving some errors.

(GOG confirmed that the links should get fixed. Hopefully the language packs will remain as well)
Had the same problem with th epatch but the game still got updated and launched correctly ...
