Hey guys, the game is awesome 10/10 would preorder again, etc. etc.

BUT please don't be bioware 2.0 and ruin the pc version with console interface.
I don't mind the keyboard controls, they are fine, but why can i only have 2 potions bound to keys?
It makes no sense, it is only due to gamepad restrictions, it is making fools out of your pc customers.
How hard can it possibly be, and how expensive, to tune the interface to the pc?
I bet it would take you guys under a day.

The reason why it makes no sense is that you can simply open your inventory and equip different potions all the time, so why would you have the pc players do that instead of allowing them to bind more keys?
if it was impossible to equip new potions during combat it would atleast make a little bit of sense.

Even worse are the Oils, opening your inventory every time you fight a creature to apply the oils is nothing but annoying.
It is also annoying that you have to re-apply it, since we have unlimited supply of oil and can re-apply it all the time, why do we have to open up the inventory and apply it again over and over?
All this does it make me not use oils.

In games like the witcher you already spend a lot of time in menus and other time-consuming activities, i think future patches should really tackle this issue and help giving players a less time-consuming experience.
It is not immersive to open my inventory all the time during fights, especially if the combat is meant to be fluid and fast-paced.

Besides all this i like the new refilling potions, i actually use stuff like tawny owl now.

Oils are supposed to be used before a fight, when you actually know what kind of monster you will face. And they only resupply if you have the required ingredients. But I have to agree with you in certain things, like the potions. I usually have to change between Swallow, Thunderbolt, and Tawny Owl, and some extra slots would be nice, but I don't really think of it as a problem.
whenever i used an oil on my weapon i didn't see it disappear.
But was it actually recreated by the game, using the ingredients from my stock?
As far as i understood it, the oil lasts for 20 hits.
Once the oil is used up i can simply open my inventory again and apply the oil once more.
That seemed very useless to me since i thought you have unlimited oil.

But even then i would like some kind of item bar, or the option to assign, for example, Oil XYZ to a certian key.
So i can simply hit "KEY" and apply spectre oil to my weapon.

I looked into the glossary and nowhere does it say that the oil is consumed after usage.

then my OP stands as it was posted - the oils make no sense.
They might aswell have the oil stay on the weapon until another one is applied.
Why would they have us open the inventory again and again to apply a new oil.
As i posted before it just prevents people from actually using them because applying them is way too annoying.
