Does anyone if there is a way to log total hours played without launching the Galaxy Client? I rarely complete games but this game plays so well that I'll probably complete it and would like to know how many hours it took me :)

If Galaxy Client is the only way, I should note that I installed the game without using the client. Can I install the client and continue playing without having to do a reinstall?
Yes you can install the client, then just direct it to your witcher install folder for detecting games and it will find and attach the game.

I know of no other way. I start the game through Launchbox most of the time and not Galaxy, so I only have about 14 hours logged. But my game is easily 40+ hours in.

Actually, it looks like you can see the number of hours played ingame.

That number struck me as inaccurate. Not sure though.
Hmm...you could be right now that I think of the hours I've played. I'll have to install the client and see what the numbers look like over the course of a week.

You can see the total play time in-game under the stats screen. If you open your inventory or open the character menu, then press "c". It's on the lower left area of the stat screen. It does list 24 hours of play time as a day though, so you will have to do a little math to get your total number of hours played.
Eh... Mine is listed over 17 days.. I know I haven't spent 420 hours of this game.

So you're saying to install the client in the same folder the game is? Or is it okay to install in a separate folder? I did the latter and it's not detecting the game

You install the client to its own place. There are options to detect your game library and to scan specific folders for games. I don't know where those options are right now as I'm not at my computer,
