I defeated and looted the monster and then collected my reward, but the trophy that was among the loot does not show up in my inventory. Anyone else had this problem with this quest or others?

Sometimes the trophies install themselves on your horse, perhaps look there.

For me it happens all the time, totally annoying. Always puts the latest trophy in the trophy slot.
