Anybody else getting this problem?

I had to download the dlc from the website cuz galaxy was giving me the game's installer rather than the dlc installers. After installing both, I turned off my computer for the night. Yet when I rebooted my computer, the client is demanding that I install the game again.

I had to do this once, figuring that it was just a glitch since the dlc installed so fast; which it then made me download some 450 mb of stuff which turned out to be just duplicates of the icons and uninstallers. Yet it has done it again; not only that, but it also seems to forget about all of the time I've put into the game (I'm pushing 24 hours, yet it says I've only played 5 for some reason)

My internet here is pretty trash, so every patch has taken a few hours to download, and I'm slowly getting frustrated with the client. Game still works, but I'm worried for future patches. So does anybody know what's going on, or why it's gotta do this constantly?
Galaxy asks me for admin rights 2-3 times when I install a new patch or piece of DLC. Maybe it needs the other installers while it is configuring the updates or new content, for some ridiculous reason. It only takes a minute though, it doesn't try to reinstall the entire game.

My hours are always behind, but after a while Galaxy always updates my hours. I don't know how accurate it is because I haven't been keeping track separately, but it seems like it is probably pretty close.
Thanks man.

I've never had it ask me for admin rights, which is nice. However, it's mostly the 'checking local files' part that takes so damn long. I mean, it doesn't reinstall the entire game, as you said, but the checking of local files takes almost an hour for some reason, and then I wait another 2 hours for the downloading of the 500mb of files that I really don't need. All it does is give me duplicates of the icons, the uninstallers and a couple other things.

I'm starting to think that it is because I deleted the installers from the !Downloads folder, since I didn't think they were necessary. And I've just sorta given up the idea of Galaxy updating the hours, since I'm not finding the client that useful at the moment.
