stardustrider: It's wierd that I've got 1.01TB free space on my C: drive, yet Galaxy still pops up as saying that it's out of space.
Install the game using offline installer, then import in Galaxy. Most likely later is not necessary as Galaxy should pick it up automatically.

I've actually already got The Witcher 3 installed, but this shows up when I try to install the additional content, like the wallpapers, HD videos, etc.
I have the same problem, how do i fix it?
I hate this client seriously... such a fail program!

I've seen some thread with the same problem, but I don't know solution for Galaxy. It's still buggy beta.
Try using GOG Downloader or just get directly in browser from GOG site.
I had the same problem

1. Reinstall GOG client to the disk where you want to have GoG games folder
2. Install game(s) in default folder

The bug probably lies in the measuring space disk not for destination folder where you want to install the game, but it takes the folder (disk) where the client is installed. Hope it help.
I solved this by reinstalling Galaxy. I should note that Galaxy and the game in question were both on the same drive and I don't think I moved the Galaxy install to a different one.
Had the same problem. Take a look at GOG Galaxy in the lower left hand corner. You will see a down arrow and to the right of it is a circular symbol. Click on the circular symbol and look at where the downloads are going. In my case I had it setup to go to a hard drive that is no longer part of my system which is why I was getting the "Out of disk" space message. I changed it to my C: drive and am currently downloading "Hearts Of Stone" automatically with GOG Galaxy.

Hope this helps.
I had the same problem. My drive recently died and GoG had invalid paths. Still, the error message should definitely be improved. It's not "out of disk space" it's more like "Cannot access: [path]".
Reinstall the client with admin rights.
yup just click the litle gear setting button and change the location to a place with space.

Kogon: Hi guys,

everey time I try to download the game or install it or preload it, it says: installation failed: out of disk space.
But that isnt possible because I have 730GB left. I also switched the installation folder and the download folder to the empty space but still it wont work. Can someone help me or has a solution ?
Go to settings, and change the installation folder. That solved it for me.

Just FYI the problem still exists 6 months in to 2016 and this solution still fixes it. Doesn't matter if you choose a different directory when installing a game, the client checks the location set in settings for space. Kind of ridiculous that this hasn't been fixed yet, but eh, it's gog.
