As a long term MMO gamer, many years ago I changed my key mapping for all games to ESDF for forwards, strafe left, backwards and strafe right.

This enables me to use more keys around the above movement keys without having to stretch my fingers to the right hand side of the keyboard.

When I did this i remember playing like a complete newb for around 2 weeks while I got used to it.

Witcher 3 has no key mapping for forwards, strafe left, backwards and strafe right and forces you to use WASD from what I can see which is a complete nightmare for me as my left hand auto lands on ESDF when it hits the keyboard. It's like asking a typist to use G and K as their home keys instead of F and J. You would end up with a complete pile of gibberish if they were to copy type using G & K.

Every other single player game of any consequence I have played includes completely open key mapping and I would suggest that the Witcher 3 is changed to this asap.

For me, this game is rubbish atm no matter how good the graphics look, how good the story is because my combat is all over the place and I'm not changing my MMO setups for one single player game.
