Letter from Karadin to Hammond that Geralt finds on Faroe basically says,
"Regarding your business proposition: thanks but no thanks - i'm not interested in keeping in touch, i'm not interested in doing any business with you. Good luck. We're done. Permanently."
On the wake of reading that letter Geralt's assertion when he returns to The Nowhere to meet with Lambert,
"They never severed ties. They're in business together."
What am i missing here ?
