That would mean to get a second copy of this game so...nope. Furthermore, you know that while playing the game on Steam would reduce your framerate because of the DRM by Steam, right? Do you really want that? ;) In addition, Steam is gettin worse, I own a sh** load of games there and I'm tired of all the crap they are offering lately. Steam may still be the number one Platform for PC-Games, but for how long is the other question. And did I forget to mention that it is NOT DRM free on Steam?

No, the key was there to promote company's own store GOG.com (Both GOG.com and Witcher developer CD Project RED are part of the same company, CD Projekt S.A.). All keys sold outside of Steam for Witcher 3 are GOG keys for same reason.

@lowl1fe: Witcher 3 actually is DRM-free on Steam. It runs just fine without Steam running.
