I hope the right people are reading this ;)

Just wanted to say thank you for this nice and really entertaining game. I have played for nearly 55 hours and just finished the main storyline and have a ton of sidequests to do.
I made a few decisions I regretted later so I may start all over again, who knows. But without reading any guide or trying hard to achieve it, I managed to get the best game ending, which really really was what I hoped for after what I saw Ciri do (no more information here as people who've not finished yet might read it) near the end.
I really hoped to get such an ending and I was rewarded for playing a caring Gerald who just loves his "adoptive" daughter more than his own life.
Even without reading the books (can anyone tell me the right order and maybe give me some links to them?) or playing Witcher 1 and 2 I got a strong affection for Ciri and really felt like I was Gerald, because I wanted to protect her no matter what.
Long time since I had a game that got me to emphasize that strong with any character - so thank you for the well written story and characters.^^
i agree
Same as me ;)
Best game ever!

There are two sets, one is short stories, the other is novels. The short stories start chronologically with The Last Wish, though it wasn't the first to be released. The novels start with Blood of Elves.

i love it!

currently taking a 2 day break from the game. finished up the 1st playthrough from swords and bones mode, now statred on death march and the difficulty went sky high. that made it a whole new game! xD
Yes, wonderful work! May all next-gen games accomplish so much as Witcher 3.

Not quite finished main quest, probably 50-70 hours in, but this game already figures as my best game ever!!

All games released before and after this will likely feel bland...
Signed.

Really enjoyed the ending. Without spoiling... it kept me guessing until the last minute... questioning my choices and waiting anxiously to see if a certain someone was still alive. Bravo CDPR.

I wasn't happy about a couple of the outcomes of choices I made.

I went back and changed a couple of things, now when I close my eyes I hear the screams of the hundreds of people whose deaths I have caused.
