Conan.433: I could never understand why people power run through a game world. It's a serious immersion breaker for me. I always walk even though it takes longer (except in Dark Souls XD). If I want to get somewhere faster, I just fast travel or go on horseback.

Clonazepam: Agreed. So far I have not noticed any penalty in combat for being overburdened. He's suddenly able to dodge and roll as if he wasn't. I still only use the horse for getting to a far away sign post, and that's only if its a path I've traveled. Fast travel is strictly for trips to the merchant. You just encounter so much along the way, whether its monsters, bandits, amusing dialogue... love it.
I love Witcher 3! It's a HUGE world. Skellige alone could rival Skyrim in terms of scale. Sometimes I just stare at the map glassy-eyed, not knowing where to go next, counting all of those question marks. What to do?? Do I help those peasants with their wraith problem, or go help Triss?? And to think that CDProjekt is planning more quests
...and that's just what it'll do... one of these days this game is gonna walk all over you!

Seriously, I think it's getting better and better... I'm on low settings, and the buildings in Novigrad are the best I've ever seen, sometimes I think I'm looking at a photograph...

True story! Once i decided to go more then 3k kilometers to the fist fight arena from quest by boat on Skellige just because i was amused by it's beautiness and also i have to mentioned that you will loose a lot of atmosphere if you will go just by fasttraveling. Moreover i have found some more quests during my trip=)
