So, recently came back to the game from a one year Hiatus. Game had updated to the newest version. It removed the debugger code from the .ini file. No big deal. Found the fix that required it to be added to another file. Added it. Debugger now shows up. Perfect. Except it does nothing. Not one single code works. Also, my health bar only goes down after falling or taking health potions. Once it reaches empty, I die. But Reloading the game, reloads the health bar to whatever it was when I saved. Meditating or food doesn't fill it. Potions deplete it.

I've deleted the game and reinstalled. Deleted my save files even. But the ones that are saved on the cloud seem to be corrupted too. I've ran the repair command on the GOG galaxy app. Nothing.

I have over 80hrs into the game. Id would prefer to not have to nuke EVERYTHING and start over. Ive even tried to start a new game and it has the same issues. It has to somehow be tied to my old save files. I just dont know if there is ANY way to fix it without losing HOURS of progress. Anyone ever ran into this before?
If starting a new game does not fix it then it must be the game not the save files. First backup your saves. Then try to remove these edits you have made to the game and anything you may have activated, any cheats etc Sometimes these files are otuside the game like in my document or AppData and repair may not affect them.

Ive deleted the game and reinstalled it. The only thing left was the game safe files. I actually copied them, renamed them and moved them. When I reinstalled, GOG Cloud pulled the saves and such back down, and the problem persists. I have no mods. I even tried without adding the debugger console. Still has the same results.
Try to cut the entire witcher folder from documents to another place and then run the game from the exe file directly not from galaxy so you don't get the cloud backup. Could be that something messed up with the debug mode

I will try and run it that way. All this started after the last update of the game itself.
