Looking for any suggestions here.

opened GOG galaxy as normal to play, hit the big green play button (the infor on the left says 'last played a few seconds ago) but the game does not launch.

Have uninstalled both GOG and The Witcher 3, reinstalled both and the same issue is still thre, I simply cannot get the game to even try to launch.

The only difference between now and the last time I played is a Win 10 update, is there a known issue with Win 10 tech preview or is it something else?

Any suggestions are appreciated, thanks!

have you tried installing the game directly to your hard drive? this way you will not need to use the GoG Galaxy client which might be causing the problem

Yep, even reinstalled it from the disks rather than the downloadable content, still no joy

Strange looks like i was missing a dll

VCOMP110.dll

Problem solved and it starts Ok now i replaced that?

it might not be much help but there is a lot of info & suggestions of how to fix the problem in this thread The Witcher 3 won't start up also there might be something helpful on the GoG support page other than that i suggest contacting GoG support team & explaining your problem to them & hopefully they will help you fix it

instead of editing the above keep i'll leave it there in case you have any more start up problems, anyway glad you sorted it out

I am also having the same problem and i have windows 10.

i think it might be an issue with gog thinking your trying to download multiple copies as whenever they update win 10 its like a new install as far as gog is con concerned. i just didbntry much as i started playing tera online instead but if i get mine up i will check back.
Also you dont hap-pen to have nvidia?

Oh i recall running it from the icon in the file sys and it says im missing a fail vcomp110.dll i believe.
