I have been enjoying Witcher 3 for a couple of weeks now.
In the beginning I had a one time crash that gave no error-message of other indication of what had gone wrong.
I just restarted the game and went on to play for hours and hours not giving the crash a second thought.
As of late (I think post-1.04, but I am not sure about this) I keep on getting crashes like the ones I mentioned above.
Up until a point that I now stopped playing the game all together and un-installed it.
Every 10-30 minutes the game would just crash without any introduction, it would minimize to the desktop and there would be no way of getting back in, after 5-10 seconds on the desktop the game would terminate. No error-message at all.
I have tried to change settings (graphics) to no avail.
My rig:
Windows 7 Ultimate, 64-bit
Intel i7-4790K @4.0Ghz
16 Gig Ram
Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 3.5GB (sure, they sold it to me claiming it was 4.0GB, but we all know that's not true).
2x iiyama 27" Prolite X2783HSU screens.
I would appreciate if this would be fixed since I loved the game, were it not for this BUG.
A game that is this big should've been tested properly on a very popular GFX card like the GTX970 as well as rigs with 2 screens.
I'm so very disappointed that I am considering, not even boycotting CD Projekt Red but also GOG all together.
