Does anyone know yet how to do this? I've seen it said Witcher gear can specially be upgraded and change appearance and the like. While normally I'd be content to just explore the game and mess around, the fact CDPR forgot to include Player Storage (which is a serious crime in Open World RPGs, even GTA has player storage of sorts!), It becomes a burden to lug around outdated witcher gear that takes up a lot of weight.

So how can you upgrade witcher gear?

You have to find the diagrams for upgraded gear.

As for storage, I have been dropping little packages on the ground behind the Merchant in White Orchard (the one on the road close to the fast-travel sign). I'm about 40 hrs in and they are still there. Dunno if they will stay forever.
