I was wondering. Though you can stop Geralt once he's walking, it needs a bit of practice I've found using a Controller (Xbox 360 on PC). It seems to me that you would expect Geralt to stop more quickly. The gameplay is great though! Does anybody else feel the same or am I the only one?
The controls overall seem extremely clunky to me, add into that the part where you have to position your character to face towards an object to interact with it and it can become extremely frustrating.

I found that too actually. It seems like this may need some tweaking.
I think I might've found out why I had troubles with the movement. I had some issues with my Xbox 360 Controller (used with a wireless receiver). I decided to buy an Xbox One Controller for Windows (using a cable). It now works VERY smoothly, even the walking is normal now - I'm not sure if its just the cable solution versus the wireless solution or that its the Xbox One Controller - hope it is of some help.
