So there no chances to have better water?? Current water is aweful and not even close to water in trailers. I understand douwgrage due to consoles, but this is just 2001 year level of water quality. 0_o

First use/game to use pixel shaders fyi.

The water does look terrible however in TW3.

Give me a game who run properly with a cool awesome water + underwater in an openworld.
None.
I wasn't disappointed with the graphics overall as everybody else has, however, if there is one graphical element that disappointed, it was the water. I remember the 2013 trailer with those large rolling waves quite vividly. I hope they change the water system with updates or maybe a mod.

What about Black Flag?

I don't think the water in The Witcher 3 is as bad as people are making it out to be though.
I don't mind the water effects as they are right now, though the viscosity seems to be a bit too high in that particular universe.
What i find a bit sad is that boats don't leave a wake behind. None at all. I'm not saying this is immersion-breaking but it's very noticeable.

True. Black Flag was great about the water.
GTA 5 does relly have high quality water, too. IMO.
Nevertheless, I tink TW3's water is good enough.

CDP just has to release the modding tool, and we have to be patient a bit. I really hope we might get some modding goodness like Skyrim does.

It's not exactly Black Flag-level but better than nothing.
