i just downgraded from windows 10 to windows 8 and when i start the witcher it doesn't say load game. so wheres my save file?

Moving back to Windows 8 after using Windows 10 means you have done a clean installation of Windows 8 so unless you made a USB recovery drive or made a back up of your files another way you have lost your files.

i just found that they are saved in the documents folder which is now been deleted so ive lost the save.
