I got this same problem right after the cutscene when you finish killing the ghouls at the start.

Random crashes in cutscenes and gameplay :(
Yeah crashes here as well with an ATI pc and an NVIDIA pc. Random times. Tried running the game without gogalaxy and as admin but still happening.
I thought it was a cutscene bug but just now I encountered the same problem while switching through the inventory menu too. I turned off the MSI Afterburner overlay and so far no errors during the game.
For me too.
Happening during cutscenes, gameplay and menus.
I have no overlay
Maybe it's the lastet Nvidia drivers will try to re-instal the old ones.

same here just on cutscenes atm!
Try Fullscreen mode. Borderless windowed mode crashed a couple of times for me too but after changing it I had no more trouble.

this worked! ty krull
Randomly crashing with audio still going here, too. Changing to fullscreen didn't work. Changing to lowest graphic settings didn't change anything either.
I have same problem , crash but sound still hearing ... what should I do ? there is any fix ?

Tryed, just had another freeze with audio keep running .
This has happened to me once (just over 4 hours played so far). It was during the cut-scene after Geralt wakes after his nightmare near the begging.
Same here - been running the game in fullscreen the whole time and have had 5 or 6 crashes to desktop in the 3 hours I have played. It doesn't seem to be cut scene triggered but has happened during them.
