Hi, I have The Witcher Wild Hunt for PC, and play it through GOG Galaxy. Whenever I exit the game, the PLAY button on Galaxy is greyed out and I cannot start the game again. Why? Because the application is somehow still running in the background (confirmed this in Task Manager). I have to terminate it there and only then can I press PLAY again. Why does this occur?

What can I do to fix it?

I have the same bug on Windows 7, but not on Windows 10. And, honestly, I don't know why.

Hi, so apparently patch 1.03 has fixed this for me, thankfully.

Patch 1.03 is not solving the problem to me.:(

+1, I had NOT this issue before 1.03 patch. Very annoying!!!

I noticed it happening yesterday with the 1.02 patch on Windows 7, so for me at least it wasn't introduced with the latest patch.

Running the game with admin rights SOLVES this issue for me.

Can that be it? Could you other guys try it as well? If so I'll mark it as a solution!

- also on my site, witcher exe is still active after shut down the game, both patches, windows 8.1.
