I got a while into the game and decided that I would try using some mods. I tried one mod, which wouldn't work for some reason, and then promptly uninstalled it. It launched after that. Then I installed the mod that gets rid of the intro video before the title and the little reminders of what happened in the last main quest before you actually get into the game. It didn't work either. I then uninstalled it and tried launching the game and it wouldn't start. I verified the files and it had replaced a few missing files, but still wouldn't launch. I decided that I would try uninstalling it and then uninstalling it. That hasn't helped either. I was wondering if you guys have any idea as to what I can do to fix this. If it helps at all, I installed the game using the Galaxy client.

1. Navigate to the folder where the game is
2. Click The Witcher 3 - Wild Hunt shortcut to see what error you get running the game.

My guess is the MS C++ visual studio 2012 related issue after your Win 10 update.
In that case, you will see something like vcomp110.dll is missing.

In that case, click "_redist" in the same folder and then MSVC2012_x64.
Run, vcredist_x64.exe and 'repair'.
