Is the "XP bug" fixed in 1.05? I didn't find anything about it in the changelog (or I'm totally blind).

Improves the distribution of experience points gained by completing quests with recommended levels lower than the player character level.
This means: "We believe we've fixed the xp bug."
I cannot confirm as I haven't experienced the xp bug myself, but the patch notes do say they fixed it. =)

Well, many friends of mine relate some issues with main quests, if the quest are below of your lvl, you receive only 5 xp.
Side quests and contract too.

Are they going to do anything about the main quest XP? I kind of hate the fact that they boost your level so quickly in the final act, to the point that the rest of the game is too easy afterwards (as in no XP)

Now that the patch is out, I went and completed Pyres of Novigrad, which had been bugged for me. I'm at level 15, and the xp reward was only 5xp. Is that supposed to happen, since I am 5 levels above the quest level? Just want to be sure my game's working right. Thanks!!

I'm at level 13 and lately I have been getting only 5 XP after finishing every contract and quest(either main or secondary), is that normal? The quests levels are between 6 and 10 though. Among the finished stuff where I got 5 XP was:

* Family Matters
* Return to Crookback Bog
* Greedy God
* Patrol Gone Missing
* The Dwarven Document Dilemma
* Blood Ties

Do I get less XP because of my level or is it a bug?

No trouble here before and after patch. O_o No, getting 5 exp is not normal. You should be getting tons for main quests and about 250 for contracts. Minor quests will give anything between 5 to 70.

It seems to be just with Pyres. I've done a couple other quests since and am getting plenty of xp from them, contracts, main quest, etc. Fingers crossed that Pyres will be the only one I lose xp on.

Reminder: I am using stand alone version. No Galaxy client installed. Maybe that is the cause of all the issues? Try reinstalling the game from scratch. I read that people are still having XP issues, objects draw distance screwed, some quests bugged...and I am just going through the game for the 2nd time and no issues at all :P

By the discussions in other topics, I guess that 5XP was intended once the 1.05 patch was released.
