Got this on the Atari ST. Loved the game. The box art, manual with story and the music cassette with music composed by Dave Lowe. Had lots of fun on this though my version had a bug where the strategy version you ran out of fuel after a few hours so i had to always play the arcade version. Loved the games from 8 bit 16 bit era as they tried to do impressive games such as this.

It's a game from an era where games didn't belong to a genre, they created genres. As a kid, I was amazed by the possibility to control vehicles and design the grand strategy in the same game, even though it took some time to get on my feet. I would have no clue of what I was doing at first, learning by breaking, yet I just couldn't help coming back to the game and exploring its mechanics. Years went by and I searched for a similar experience, but never find anything like it again. Some successors have come our in recent years, and the original game it's definitely dated, so I may actually vote to bring some of the remakes/sequels that I never got to try to GOG. But this game blew my mind back in the day, in a way that modern games following the beaten path can't.
Those games also need your vote!
