Nocturne is Terminal Reality's first foray into gothic horror and a fantastic one at that, the game has a interesting world, story and characters along with a solid atmosphere. It was also the precursor to the widely known and underrated BloodRayne game series. It's hard to get running on modern hardware, and making it accessible would a great win for preservation and keeping TRI's memory alive!

This one should get a remake. I remember buying the game in my Canadian Tire store to ship it to a friend in France because it was unavailable there. Best old game I played.

THE GAME LOOKS SO COOL but i tried to download it and get a patch and it literally wouldn't launch also i think it's important to preserve lesser known games like these and make them easily accessible for the general PC gaming audience and all that jazz

This game did things way ahead of time, the cloth physics alone was one of the reasons the specs needed were high back in the day. Four chapters with their own story, dark and spooky environments and many strange and dangerous creatures to fight.
This is the first game I played that I had to upgrade my video card for just to get the lasers to look as awesome as they were, has a great story and matching soundtrack. If it was not for this game we would not have had "Bloodrayne" games and the gawd awful movies. This game should be a lot higher on the list I would love to play it again.

Found this game in a bin at EB games like 20 years ago. I fell in love with it instantly. It BLEEDS charm and character. At the time the game was quite technically impressive and I think its aged pretty well. It would be great if a new generation of gamers could get a chance to take this classic out for a spin!

I almost lost sleep while waiting for the game to be available back then. Now I may lose some sleeps waiting again. Bring It Back! Like others say this game deserves a remake.
My dad bought me my 1st PC along with Nocturne for Christmas(I was 25 at the time). Coming from consoles I'd never played 'a real game before' and Nocturne blew me away. I didn't realize games could look this good, sound this good or have the atmosphere this did. I didn't realize they could be this difficult either. Having separate stories was pure genius. A remake(done properly) would fly off the shelves, failing that making this playable today would still be a work of art
Started off playing BloodRayne and wanted to learn more about the series. Found out that it started with Nocturne. Just like BloodRayne it has love and care put into it and contains a good mature story too. The characters and world is also great to explore and get a idea of what it's like being in it. Even has real time wind physics for clothes and other great features before others had it. Definitely deserves a remaster and possibly a remake if they can find someone with the same voice as stranger and the others especially the stranger. Nocturne 2 should have happened but we never got that because of the rights expiring. This is definitely one of the game that needs to be preserves. Blair Witch should also be preserved too. If not all of it then preserve Blair Witch Volume 1 Rustin Parr since it's pretty much a story expansion of Nocturne.

The game was the first horror survival game I played, and I never played the full game. I got a cd full of demos from a magazine which i shared with a friend because I didn't own a PC, my family was too poor at the time to buy a PC for me and my brothers. But it didn't matter, I shared many great memories with my buddy playing this game and many other demos. It is a great game that I think was the predecessor to games like BloodRayne. And it is great to save this game and make it affordable and available to everyone. At the moment, only available on abandonware websites.

Freelancer
FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.

Hollywood Monsters

The game received an indirect sequel in 2011 known internationally as The Next Big Thing and in Spain as Hollywood Monsters 2. Black & White 2
Black & White 2In the game, the player takes the role of a god called from the void (nothingness) to help those who invoked them. However, the player is not an omnipotent style god, but rather a god who rises and falls with his believers and the player must help develop their nature according to their good or evil desires. The player also has a creature, their physical representation in the world, which takes the form of an anthropomorphic ape, lion, wolf, turtle, cow, or tiger. Its physical manifestation can grow to an immense size, and adopt a good or evil persona separate of the player's. They develop their character as the player rewards or punishes their actions. In addition to the god simulation and city-building elements introduced in the original Black & White, Black & White 2 also features elements of real-time strategy gameplay, with the addition of controllable warfare and fighting units.
