A game I still own a physical copy of. But cannot play, because of certain hardware or OS requirements. I've spent hours on it as a great time killer back in my childhood and youth. But haven't touched it since I left my old Pentium4 build behind in 2005. As I've aged, I have attempted to install the game on Win7 builds, Win8, and even Win10. I know some people can make it work. Often I'm told that I can just run it on a virtual machine. And I am sure I can. But I wanted to run on the hardware. I remember getting an early WinXP compatible laptop, but the game said that the GPU was not recognized. (mobile HD2000 series iirc - no native Win98 compatability) I have an even older laptop, that I know can run it, but getting a mobile PATA/IDE drive now-a-days is expensive and a gamble. This one game, for which I've wasted so many hours of joy, is now the driving force behind my Win98 Project. But why did I list it here on GOG dreamlist then? Because I'm tired and just want the game to work and 20-25 year old hardware are also gambles on 2nd hand market to build. The game still pushes me. In a good way. One direction or another.

I played the demo on a CD I got from a magazine and it was awesome! I like puzzle games and it's a good puzzle game, but it's also very-very fun! Plus, it has short, funny cinematics with the pit droids.
I would love to play this game again. As a child my friends and I put in tons of hours into this silly game. There isn't a great way to play it on modern hardware and I don't want this to disappear to time. I know many other Star Wars games have been released on GOG so I'm hoping this one can too. People love to buy Star Wars things, so you know it will make money. I own more Star Wars games that I haven't played, than own Star Wars games that I have played. That being said, I WOULD play the heck out of this game again.
This one is a really unique puzzle game in addition to being a Star Wars game. It is a game about the eponymous pit droids from Star Wars Episode I - Phantom Menace in which you try to make them all reach to specific exit ports, very akin to the beloved Lemmings series but isometric this time. There are some gadgets tou can place, like direction changers, color coders and so on. A very important aspect of it is also the slap-stick humour of the pit droids, like in the movies. When you complete a certain region, cutscenes of pit droids doing silly things appear, adding to the atmosphere of the game. Also the game has a really catchy techno chip-tune soundtrack so very suitable to a Star Wars comedy series. Overall, a great game I will always remember, a very kid friendly one too, for those looking to educate their kids. Make no mistake, the puzzles are not child's play though. We need this on GoG, as soon as possible as it is a beloved part of the good old Star Wars games history. It also had a mobile version once so it shouldn't be too difficult to bring on.

This game is awesome. I've spent hours always trying to find out where those markers should be but the droids somehow kept on colliding hahaha. I think this game would be a nice gift to my nephew.
Those games also need your vote!
Dark Earth
Dark EarthDark Earth is a post-apocalyptic action-adventure game for the PC. Dark Earth takes place several centuries in the future, when a meteor collision with Earth tossed up great clouds of dust that blocked out the sun. Earth's remaining survivors began to seek refuge beneath small openings in the clouds, the few places light could be found. Those that remained in the 'dark earth' were hunted by strange creatures, infected with the darkness. To shelter themselves from the dangerous 'dark earth', the people began to form cities beneath the light called 'Stallites'. At the time of the game, most of the citizens of the stallite have forgotten their history and now worship the light as a god. The stalites are run by 'Sun Priests', who maintain order and prevent the creatures of darkness from harming the city. The game follows the story of Arkhan, a "guardian of fire", protector of the stallite 'Sparta' and the Sun Priests. After an attack on the sun priests, Arkhan has a poison thrown into his face that begins to infect him with the dark sickness. He begins to mutate into a creature of the dark and has to find a cure before his transformation is complete. Along the way, he is treated as an enemy by most of his former friends while he struggles to uncover the conspiracy behind the attack.

Conker's Bad Fur Day
Conker's Bad Fur DayHumorous action-platformer that does away with the tedious item collection found in most games in the genre. Instead, BFD employs a combination of standard jump, run and explore mechanics and context-sensitive gags and actions. For instance, in the beginning of the game, by pressing the B button on the first pad he encounters, Conker drinks some Alka-Seltzer to wipe out his hangover, at which point players can proceed forward. Later on these pads are used to activate a slingshot and throwing knives; to turn Conker into an anvil and drop downward; to shoot automatic, double-handed guns; to activate a The Matrix-inspired slow-motion effect and flip through the air shooting enemies; and much, much more.
