Crimson rivers.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, an atmospheric action/RPG waring its anime sensibilities on its frilly sleeve, is coming soon DRM-free to GOG.com.
Despite being slowly consumed by a curse that will crystallize her entire body, Miriam still has a lot of fight left in her. Hacking, slashing, and dodging the feisty demon hordes now under the command of a corrupted old friend, she carves a path through this castle of gothic horrors with overwhelming gusto.

Beta access keys will be distributed to the Kickstarter backers in the upcoming days.
I kickstarted this for a copy on the Wii U <^^>

You console people might have to deal with a big delay to codes distribution... Again. Unless they now are more organized.

mqstout: I'm going to get this.

But GOG, you MUST work with Iga and that crew that did the "classic style" spin-off that came out earlier this summer to get it here as well. The bastards did an 11th hour "must be released with DRM" stunt.

I plan to buy this day 1 and take a vacation day for it.
really ? DRM a must include or no sell ? they should know that DRM is not fullproof, so they should not feel safe :D
they only hurt the honest buyers ( thats us)
cause others won't be affected by all that lovely DRM.

Dillerkind: The game is led by former Castlevania series producer Koji Igarashi, and is considered a spiritual successor to the series.
I thought it was kinda weird that the trailer didn't mention Igarushi at all. I feel like the people who are interested in this kind of game would know who he was anyway and therefore warrants name dropping him.
I looks pretty ugly and made by the team that made Mighty No.9, so I'm not really all that interested.

That 8-bit prequel, however, I would buy if it came to GoG.

Nice. Some people are mad about the art style b/c it's not pixels (ironically) and I'm just glad GOG got the game. Wish we could get Shenmue 3. (And I'm not even interested in either game)
Ugh... am I the only one in thinking this art direction just awful?

KiNgBrAdLeY7: Inti-Creates are Steam-exclusive partners. Not going to happen, unfortunately, alas. They even duped everybody and caused inconvenience to Fangamer service itself, by failing to specify early that they wouldn't have DRM-Free version/pledge option, until 2 days before release of the product. Only main game will make it to GOG and this, only because IGA is the central figure in development. Sad, really. I come from Kickstarter backers and was promised a DRM-Free product. Part of said product, was forced on me through that god damned Steam DRM.
Yeah, I was pretty bummed about that. IntiCreates makes some great games and Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon is actually quite fun. It's just a shame they haven't expanded beyond Steam when it comes to the PC market.

Agreed. The gameplay looks fun and seems like a mishmash of SotN, DoS, and OoE.

Also, I think I would rather have Shenmue 1&2 instead of the 3rd. The new one just isn't really doing it for me.
Bring the 8bit Prequel here, too or no buy. Sorry GOG, full package or none. No halfsteps please...
I hope we can get Curse of the Moon someday...
Kick ass music

Was pretty disappointed they didn't release a DRM-free version of the prequel game. Hopefully they don't screw backers over some more by making the physical versions non DRM-free.
