Neither. Pretty hard bosses are a drag. Light bosses can be okay, even enjoyable, but they are certainly boring.

I prefer the inbetween, or a mix of those two. Witcher games' bosses i really liked. Neither hard, nor light, need a certain trick/technique/approach and stuff like that...
