JAAHAS: I would suggest adding a few extra columns, like what version was used in the test, when was it reported to have been tested and a column for the last known version to still work with Windows 7, as more and more games are now receiving patches that end up breaking previously existing older OS compatibility from them.
Thanks for the feedback. I'm including "version tested", "last known working version" (eg, Cyberpunk) and whether it was the game itself or just a demo in the Notes column, otherwise it would be mostly empty. I'll see if I can add more version numbers to existing games but that's mainly up to people who report them here to include that information as I can't test what I don't own myself.

AB2012: Time to improve this thread a bit.
Wow, thanks for upkeeping the thread! I had so many changes in real life lately, that I can't find the time to do it myself anymore.

Astria Ascending works fine on Windows 7.

Version tested: 1.0.154

And I don't agree with Dungeon Town being buggy and constantly crashing under Windows 7. I've played nearly 100 hours in the last few months and had two or three crashes the most (in fact I only remember graphical glitches when I tabbed out of the game and then back in). For me the game works fine on Windows 7.

Version tested: v6 including Unrated DLC.

Those extra columns will hopefully remind more people to not just report that a game runs on their system, assuming that they actually look at the spreadsheet before posting their results in this thread.
Me, again! :P Wondering if anyone in the community has tested Tails of Iron on W7? Thanks in advance.

^ Bookmarked! Thank you for this! :D

I tested it (version 1.22). It works without any problems.
What an excellent thread... I bet there will be an upcoming Win 10 thread because I really hate Win 11.
Might just go to linux since all new computer builds are preinstalled with Win 11....
A quick question, evidence can be taken from any (trustworthy) source that a game functions on win 7, but is this thread intended to be limited to games that can be purchased on GOG, or can titles only available elsewhere also be submitted?
Regardless, has there any been any evidence that a alike builds on Steam won't function on GOG? I could add some that fall into both of these categories, that I own on Steam only, some of which are available on GOG and others that are not.
In any case, it can help.
Maybe one day, a game that's only available on Steam will be available on Gog.

I'm thinking that anything definitve, like the file or any post that specifies clearly that a game works or doesn't, should be based on actually testing the GOG version, while posts based on other versions of games available on GOG should be seen as informational but not something definitive.
About including games not available on GOG... It'd just make a mess of things, I'd say, potentially flood the thread with information irrelevant for GOG users, and which wouldn't be entirely reliable even if the game would later come to GOG, so it'd need retesting anyway.

I see, that's about what I would have suspected, but it's better to know clearly what the expectations of an already established thread are.

With that:

SKALD: Against the Black Priory (*0.4.13/1.0.6c)
- Runs fine on Win 7. Is currently being frequently patched, but would likely require a significant engine overhaul to break it.

Hard West 2
The Legend of Tianding
Astera: Six-Sided Oracles (*v1.2.109)
- All run fine on Win 7,(on Steam, Steam, and Itch.io respectfully) but the GOG versions currently untested.
